Comments about Numark AXIS9 Table Top CD Player:
These CD players are probably good for the newbies to the game, but not really something I'd recommend for front room shows. The pitch controls on these CD players are inconsistent and the adjusting wheel is too loose by comparison to the products put out by Pioneer. They require re-synching on a very frequent basis, including in the middle of a mix, which is unacceptable. They also have serious problems with burned CDs, which of course makes these things a DJ's worse nightmare if Serato isn't available. Sony and TDK burned CDs were often quite problematic for me. Finally, they don't play MP3 formatted tracks.

Been running my Axis 9's for 3years now. Good units w great on the fly features...Have used at private parties and clubs w quick set up and no problems. Only issues i've deal with is cd laser accuratly reading different cds. Somtimes I've been in the mix and a particular cd just wont read...Bummer, mostly only w burnt cds...its hit or miss sometimes but other than that been a great unit for me and since I've switched to Serato no need for me to change cd's and have had no problems...

Comments about Numark AXIS9 Table Top CD Player:
Its a great product to start out with if your new to the cdj players. Its easy to use and mobile to take around anywhere you go. It has a good hand of effects that you can mess around with and really make come and handy when mixing. The looping and stutter effects are my favorite. I definetly recommend anyone to get this product but if you do then u might want to get 2 and not just one since itll be like buying just one turntable and a mixer. Though it may turn out pricy itll definetly be worth it.

Comments about Numark AXIS9 Table Top CD Player:
I've been using Numark products for a long time and their products are among the best! I have a pair of Axis 9's and they have played a big role in my business increase. There was a time when the scratch wheel on one had to be replaced, but I was only without it for about a week and a half. Over all, I would recommend this to anyone!

Comments about Numark AXIS9 Table Top CD Player:
I bought the Axis-9 four years ago from Pro-Sound. I have since been through many other stand alone table tops, but the Axis-9 is still the best [...]. People often shy away from this unit because it is "Old". The effects and load time are more advanced than some of the new table tops. The only two problems that I have encountered with the Axis-9 is that the Scratch wheel is too sensitive (mostly from human error), and the instruction booklet is very unhelpful, but the learning time on this thing is about 30 minutes so it isn't really needed.
