Comments about Numark C3 5 Channel 19" DJ Mixer With 3 Band EQ:
I had an older mixer that failed the night before the gig. I picked one of these up because it was all that was available.
I'm glad I did. As time has gone on, I've found more and more features and uses for it.
For example. The top right corner has a Zone knob. That knob controls an output on the back of the mixer.
I do mobile DJ work primarily. I have had receptions where I needed 2 seperate controls for volume. One set of speakers in one room, another set in another room. One room smaller than another, 2 different set of speakers. This feature made it so I had proper control over the volume in each room, so one set of speakers weren't blasting one room and to quiet in the next.
With this feature, the sliders are the master. So find a level that sounds good in each room, and forget it! Turn the level of both rooms up with the master, or one channel is to loud or quiet, etc.
My ONLY complaint of this mixer is there is not a mic input that has Phantom power for mics that require it.
When I decide to expand and need 2 DJ rigs, I will fit my second rig with this mixer.

Q:
Other than looks, is there a difference between this and the cm200??? newer, internally, quality, better built??? How would you rate the American Audio Q spand pro against the Numark c3. Is it common that A.A. has feedback associated with it? I am very interested in buying one of these, just cant decide which one. I currently have the 200fx which is a great mixer, but it is time to update this portion of the setup. Also I use a BB882i. Would the A.A. be to much processing or over kill??1 answer
