I believe this is one of the best rack CD players yet. I have been the DJ business for a while now and I have tried my share of dual rack CD Players and I feel that Numark has got this right. The effects our really good and the BPM counters are very accurate. However, you have watch out when you use the beat sync BPM feature. The Master Disc can really alter the pitch of the slave deck if the BPM are 10bpms out or more. Listen in que first before you play out loud while mixing.

I couldn't wait to try this unit, I mean MP3, Scratching, effects and a beatkeeper visual. Wow. Well, it stops there. The left side worked great! It read all MP3 CD brands and found the songs quickly. The right side, it seemed to get stuck trying to read, especially if you changed the song. You'd have to eject the MP3CD again and hope it reads the files. The one CD that works great is a standard CD. You will have no problems with that. MP3 CDs, good luck, it seems to have a mind of its own. The effects were so smooth and fun though, I think the problem is whatever MP3 technology their using, its cheap. If they re-release this and fix the problem, this would be a great unit. Too bad there aren't enough reviewers of this out there, since small table CD unit are what every uses now and rack mount is not as common.

I loved what it claims it can do and the effects but,it wont read some cdr's even after I tryed useing differnt brands and different burners(some worked and some didnt of same type of cdr???).Mp3 discs loop at random.I tryed to contact Numark and was put on hold for 20 min. and still never got thru.
if your playing at a club or front of people I wouldnt trust this unit.

CD players have great features and the design is very nice:) The effects sound nice and the buttons on the unit are very durable. Loops and cues are also very easy to play with. I would recommend these cd players for mobile gigs or small club, more for beginner and intermediate DJs.
