Based on 3 weeks use,this machine has proven to be reliable,practical,affordable and easy to use. I have used it to run 4 karaoke shows and to DJ a wedding as of this time. A major improvement would be a +10 button to navigate thru the tracks, but it is not a necessity. I used an identical machine belonging to a friend of mine for about 6 months,and it also provided good service. As I said, it would play most discs, but it would not read some older burned discs that a much older player that I have would read, but that is a minor inconvenience. If you are still running your karaoke shows with CDG's and CDG players instead of computers, I would recommend this unit for replacement of older malfunctioning gear.

I've had the chance to use a lot of different Karaoke players but now I have replaced all of those with this Numark. It's easy to use, just put your disc in, hit the play/pause twice to que the song and then run the forward button up to your track. It loads extremely fast and is perfect for seemless a/b singers. I also like the tray in after 30 seconds. Plus it goes into sleep mode if not used after about 10 minutes. Great machine. I have 6 units am ordering a 7th right now. I compared these with the other similar units. Really, for the price and function, this is the best available, in my opinion.
