With its extensive USB mass storage connectivity, the
iCDX can be used as a vehicle to manipulate and store MP3 fi les?facilitating
rapid access to a massive music library. To further its USB connectivity, the
iCDX comes complete with an adaptable docking station for iPod. When used with

I have a pair of the Numark icdx turntables and I like them. The are very unique in their ability to read mp3 and cds with the flexibility to spin from a hard drive jumpdrive. They work great with the Numark Cue software. The effects processor is very useful and the fact that you can download new effects for fre from the Numark website makes it a winner. Note: Make sure that you update the software inside the players as soon as you get them..The software that they come with will be outdated..Also, do not plug or unplug the players USB while they are on...causes issues..All in all though...the product is great.Dj Greg Karma - [...]

First of all, I do want to mention how genius it was for Nu Mark to present this innovation..BUT I will say that this machine let me down at the wrong event, A CINCO de MAYO party!
Before I left my house I went through the same routine of checking my music Cd's and equipment so I was confident everything was ok. When I arrived to the gig and plugged everything in, turned everything on I tried to insert a disc into the ICDX and the display gave me a drive error!! (PANIC ATTACK FOR SURE!!) I couldn't play any of my discs so I just used the USB drive and played the few tracks I had on a 512mb jump drive because the one that came "FREE" with it failed after the first week of purchasing it (but that's a different issue). Luckily I had an old Pioneer 700 that saved my butt, half of it at least.
It's a good concept but I cannot afford to have unreliable equipment on my gigs. Nu Mark, please figure this out.

I purchased this product due to the features listed. I needed a CD player but the IPod function was a great idea as well. First, don't be mislead by the picture. The IPod docking station does NOT come with it. I called and they stated that they were working on getting the IPod station made and would send to customers IF they decided to. I have still yet to receive it. My main complaint is that it is not reliable. It's got some nice features, but none of them are worth it when you get a "disc drive error" and can't play anything. I'd rather have a plain CD player that is reliable any day over this product

the cd players worked great at first. a few weeks laters my cds started getting stuck. I sent them back to Numark and they returned them with same problem three times between the two. I also took forever to get them back. I also had problem with the icdx reading cds

has many great features for a CD Player. I really like the fact that you can use a flass drive with music to play somehting on the fly. My only complaint with these is that i have had various times when it doesn't want to read my CD's right in the middle Mix (Very Frustrating, made me look real bad in front of 500 people when i didnt have the next song quite ready)

OK, I now have two iCDXs and a Numark DXM01usb mixer that I run with Numark's Cue software. I only have one word.....WOW! I have been Djing for over twenty years and this is hands down the best system I have ever operated! I always kind of missed my turntables and vinyl, no more. Easy to use, well laid out, one touch beat matching. Numark desreves a hugh thumbs up on this one.

I am using ICDX as a controller for Cue..
I probably could have gotten away with just 1 deck but having two gives me the option to play from cd/dvd/or hard drive... I have total control for all my audio files and video as well!
Its great to have back up upon back up if my computer or hard drive goes down...
I would very much recommend this player...

I have had mine since the week before Christmas. It has been used at four jobs in the weeks since. It is very well laid out! Easy to use and works great! If your looking for an HID device this is the one for you! The only knock I have is you must push down on the center of the player to scratch. Not very hard mind you, but there is a montion involved.
