nice preamp mixer , with 3 inputs versatile , tried it with another mixer hook up due i dont want to mess up . but on another gig i tried it without another mixer hooked up i am surprised that it really does the job .......... Reads the usb a and b thru different channels which is so cool about it you will not loose any mix ...........

I love everything about this product. It works perfect for serato dj intro, with virtual it works perfect for just the mixer, you can use either a thumbdrive for music or go with cds! I've used this for so many gigs from private parties to clubs and so on and it's helped me in so many ways! I've even had a lot of people come up to me and tell me how much they like the mixdeck and how it works. You can't go wrong with getting this amazing system. By far one of my top favorite I've used for gigs or for practice!! :D

The Mix Deck Express is just a great DJ Software controller. It is very versatile allowing you to use CD's, Two Pen Drive slots, and of course, the PC option. You can't go wrong with so many music source options. The disk platers are very sturdy and practical for scratching and selecting songs. Great product and great price!

Hello, the answer to your question is yes you should not have a problem using the ipad with this controller to upload mp3's. However, the only concerns that I can think of would be the amount of memory you would have using an ipad compared to a laptop.
