Numark Mixtrack DJ Software Controller
MIXTRACK is a powerhouse controller in a compact chassis for performing and producing with DJ software. The familiar layout works just like two decks and a mixer so whether you're a seasoned professional or building your DJ skills, MIXTRACK is easy to learn and handles advanced techniques. It's portable so you can grab MIXTRACK and your laptop and go to wherever the gig is.Familiar Layout
MIXTRACK has two deck controller sections with large touch-activated jog wheels and transports controls. Whether you're used to a CD player, turntables, or any other traditional DJ hardware, you'll find getting around easy. The center of MIXTRACK’s surface is its mixer section with a smooth crossfader, line faders, deck EQs, and more advanced controls for looping and effects.Traktor Enabled, Midi Compliant
MIXTRACK comes with Native Instruments Traktor LE software, which is based on Traktor Pro. This popular, easy-to-learn software is made for mixing, remixing, and producing music. It gives you four optional layouts, including cover art. You will enjoy new Beatgrid Editing and saving with locked sync for precise performance. Also included is manual looping and selectable loop length for flexible loop integration. Additionally, Traktor LE gives you several effects per deck including filter, delay, reverb and flanger. MIXTRACK comes factory mapped for use not only with Traktor LE but also Traktor Pro and Duo, so if you’re already a Traktor power user, you’ll be ready to go right out of the box. Full MIDI compliance means MIXTRACK will also work with virtually any MIDI-mappable music software.Easy Usb Connection
MIXTRACK connects to your Mac or PC as a class-compliant USB device so it requires no software drivers to work, and USB powers it so you won't need an external supply.Features:

I've just completed three shows this weekend with my brand new Mixtrack interface. I chose this because the price was right, and I'm pleased to report the features and performance were more than I expected.
There are a few things missing in this interface, however for a beginner or intermediate DJ you can't go wrong with this. This interface has integrated internal mixing controls to control your levels on your master output; but there is no audio interface included. If you need that sort of thing, pony up to the Mixtrack PRO. The turntables are overglorified jog wheels, and for true scratching, best add in timecode vinyl for the true authentic feel and response. The platters are touch sensative, so don't go resting your fingertips on the platter getting ready to "loop out" or you'll STOP your audio on that deck, unless you toggle off the scratch button for that deck.
It comes bundled with Traktor LE software, but this interface rocks in Virtual DJ.
All in all, this is a very solid and well designed product, and the cost couldn't be sweeter for what you get out of the box.

This is a plastic controller with no weight to it. If you are a pro DJ that moves around, this WILL break. If you are just starting out or a bedroom DJ this is a great starter. It comes with Traktor which is not user friendly. I suggest Virtual DJ 6.1.2 with this controller. You will absolutly love this combination. The later versions do not support this controller. This is a plastic controller but it does do the job. IMHO it is just a "fun toy" or starter. Just like the Torq Exponent but cheaper.

Comments about Numark Mixtrack DJ Software Controller:
I Use The Mixtrack For Small Gigs( 50 People ). Really Does The Job Good Especially With Virtual DJ. The Fact That these Isn't Build In Sound card is not a problem for me. Usually the built in sound card is not that good. i prefer using an external sound card that guaranties good quality sound and low latency.
I Have Used The Mixtrack Pro and i had allot of problems with the response doe too the latency and sound quality of the unit.

Comments about Numark Mixtrack DJ Software Controller:
The Numark Mixtrack Is a excellent budget Midi controller for the up and coming Dj! It works with just about any DJ Program you can throw at It. Traktor 1,2,3. Virtual DJ 7, Abelton, ect. The platters are highly touch sensitive, so be wary when working with the device not to touch them on accident. You can fix this easily by turning off the scratch button. There are 3 top *EQ Kill Buttons* Traktor uses them how they are. Virtual Dj 7 maps them as Cue points. 1 2 and 3. This Midi Controller does not have built In audio. I recommend the "Audio 2 Dj by Native Instruments. They work perfectly together. All buttons and nobs feel natural to push and turn. It's built out of a light weight plastic, however It does not feel cheap, especially the platters. This is a wise investment If your short on money and want a decent midi. I would not use this for big events and such. If your that big, you'd have Technics! :D

Comments about Numark Mixtrack DJ Software Controller:
I have used the others and considering the price of the Numark Mixtrack, it was the best purchase I have made. I was able to go completely digital for relatively cheap. The Mixtrack does not come with the audio interface, and requires the NIAudio2DJ. Along with a flash drive capable of holding all my music the days off lugging around CD's and CD decks are long over. Mixtrack is simple to use and I would recommend it to any experienced DJ.

Comments about Numark Mixtrack DJ Software Controller:
I brought a Numark CD player package about a year ago and i love how much clear the sound is even when i do gigs. I am thinking about investing in a Numark midi to get more business from all over Virginia. And it's priced right.

Comments about Numark Mixtrack DJ Software Controller:
This Numark controller is perfect for the mobile DJ that just needs something to plug and play. It's very easy to use and controls most functions from any software such as Serato or VirtualDJ. It even comes with an LE version of VDJ. Very cheap but not cheaply made, Numark did an excellent job making a controller for the cutting edge computer DJ's of today.
There is a couple downfalls though, the loop controls are limited to the smaller range and selecting songs from the knob can take awhile and be tedious.
All in all a great product and worth the purchase.
