I found this product very useful out of the box. It came with Virtual DJ Software,This software is Very Easy to learn and has a great Support Team.Not to mention,Numark has been a Leader in the DJ world when it comes to DJ Equipment.Seeing that this Digital Controller has 100% Midi Compatibly with in the Virtual DJ Software.I purchased this DJ controller back in May of 2011 and have used it on a regular bases at ALL my DJ Event and never had an issue.I can not think of one thing to say about what is not great.This item is so worth the money.Yes,you can spend a lot of cash for those other So Called High End controllers,but this Controller can do EVERYTHING those High End Controllers can Do...

I Think this is definetly a great product for beginners and who could argue with the price of unit. I love the controller itself, very light and easy to setup. I have used it in a mix of situations. The only real disadvantage of this system is that it has the VirtualDj system which has to be upgraded if you want the pro eddition which isnt exactly cheap for someone who is just starting out. But I love the fact that it is Traktor software friendly which makes a great updgrade from the VirtualDj LE software that comes with the product if you are looking to choose to go a different route. I Highly recommend if you are passionate and want to start learning to DJ without breaking the bank that you try these out.

I'm going to be honest with you guys in saying the only reason you would want to buy this controller is if you want to make your life easier. It can be easily used as the only equipment needed to do a mobile dj job. It can also be used to practice digitally, with Traktor, Virtual DJ.. and much more. This mixer is infamous in the flyer party scene in Los Angeles with 13-17 year old being the owners and throwing flyer parties. Personally i stood away from this mixer because it holds you back from so many capabilities in developing your skills. If this is your price range get it, if you can go higher price range then invest in something better that you won't replace, if your just djing as a hobby or for personal parties then this is perfect. The Numark Controller is an infamous piece of equipment in my area that has a bad rep due to the owners of the product. If we talk about the product itself, it's an average controller that can please anyone who isn't picky.

I bought this back in Feb and at first I was a bit weary about it but I gave it a chance and am very happy that I did. Don't let the cheap price full you, this bad boy will make you feel like you spent more then what you paid for it. The scratching is very accurate and if you go into the VDJ program settings you can adjust the scratch sensitivity to your liking. My only problem with this is that it doesn't have a sample feature on the system itself, I do a lot of live remixing so having a sample button on hand would be very handy. This is a great piece to have if you are on a budget but still want all the cool features like in the high end models, It's also a great piece for beginners as well and the best part of having this is that you don't need a mixer or a sound card which means less for you to carry to your gigs.

I tried the Numark mixtrack pro and i would rate it a double 10. The very big plus is you just take it out the box and plug it up and go verses the ones that makes it a little hard to figure out. Yes i would tell a friend about this product. And i also own Numark CD players as well.

I just started out a year ago and my dad brought a midi and i played around with it and i like it. I have Numark CD players and that's a really good product to have. So i got online checked around and checked out some DJ'S on you tube and i say this midi is worth the money.

I bought this Controller as a budget friendly piece of gear for DJing on the go! The fact that its easy to use, and resembles the feel of CDJ's and a mixer all in one is great for those looking to switch to something quickly and easily! The unit is lightweight and the built in sound card helps if you want to carry less gear!
The construction of the base is a bit concerning for myself, as it seems to be made of plastic and doesnt seem like it would hold up to major abuse, but overall I am very pleased!
I recently used this controller on a gig that was outdoors, and it worked flawlessly! I would recommend this unit to anyone who is either just starting out, or looking for a portable controller that can be easily carried anywhere!

As a mobile DJ since 1983 I have used it all. I have a multi unit business with Dee Jays who love to run laptops with controllers. I dont mind the controller or software they use as long as it gets the job done. However, I recently did a last minute party for a new referal client and showed up with the usual sound and light package and a Mixtrack Pro with a simple hp laptop. I ran a 500GB passport filled with all you can handle and the system ran without a flaw for 4.5 hours. Since then I've purchased two more and for the mobile market this has to be the best bang for your buck by far. It's only a Toy if it doesnt work. Good job with this one Numark.

The mixtrack pro is a great dj controller to use. It allows you to scratch, and its not that bad either. The cue point buttons are also pretty neat and this controller is a great value also.

Great product for the price. It gives you that pro look and feel. Just make sure you have a powerful enough laptop to enjoy the features without problems such as glitching and freezing.

I'm pretty impressed with this controller. It is very straight forward and not that hard to get use to. I only have it a week now and already i feel i like i had it for a year. I deffinately got my money's worth and more with the numark mixtrack pro.

I have been using this for the past month at my mobile and club gigs. I LOVE this controller. It's very easy to use, the jog wheels have great response, and It's just another quality item from Numark. I only wish it had: a heavier base, gain control knobs, and output level meters.

The Virtual DJ LE software that comes with it is also very good. I ended up upgrading to Virtual DJ Pro because I wanted more effects and features.

I tried several other controllers both in the Mixtrack Pro's price range and above it. I kept going back to the Mixtrack Pro because of how good it felt to me. The controls feel like two cdjs and a mixer. They are very well laid out and everything you need is in easy reach.
