Designed by Numark in collaboration with Serato, NS7FX represents the pinnacle of digital DJ performance. NS7FX combines a premium mixer with two motorized, adjustable-torque turntables, real vinyl, and a professional audio interface to deliver a complete performance solution that will satisfy the most hardcore turntablist. NS7FX also includes powerful effects controls for hands-on manipulation of the wide range of effects built into the included Serato ITCH software.
A full complement of premium faders, knobs, buttons, and our new Strip Search virtual needle-drop control integrates seamlessly with ITCH. NS7FX exchanges turntable and control information with your Mac or PC at more than ten times standard MIDI resolution, resulting in a rock-solid hardware/software system that feels and as good as it looks.
You want the feel of real decks and vinyl. You want the power and flexibility of a computer-based DJ system. You need NS7FX.
Developed In Partnership With SeratoNS7FX was a collaborative development effort with Serato to develop the finest computer-DJ experience. It is a one-to-one hands-on control instrument for Serato ITCH. Because it was designed for ITCH, NS7FX setup time is the bare minimum. No tweaking, no mapping; just plug and perform.
Serato Itch SoftwareSerato ITCH is already familiar if you use Scratch LIVE. The new program builds on Scratch LIVE’s popularity and adds some key, new features. ITCH doesn’t require a timecode interface, so the system can be as simple as, say, NS7FX and your computer! Since ITCH makes timecode a thing of the past, you won’t need to worry about needles skipping or vinyl wearing out. You can load your Scratch LIVE crates, loops, presets, and cue points seamlessly in ITCH. NS7FX also works with most other MIDI DJ software and supports iTunes.
ITCH is a high-performance portable music system with internal mixing and platter-style playback control. Because it is designed specifically for use with hardware control, ITCH has a clean information display.
ITCH handles audio processing and mixing including channel fading, EQ, crossfading and track trim are processed for outstanding control and management of your tracks, ease of recording your set, clip-proof gain management, and BPM calculation using the power of your computer’s processor.
Serato's unique color waveforms provide an easy identification of sound and changes in the track. ITCH can set and store cue-points. It offers three-range pitch control: ±8%, ±16%, and ±50% with Key Lock for manipulation of pitch and tempo independently.
ITCH has library management tools for backup and restoring your music. Advanced input and mix recording capabilities include recording your mix or just the aux input for sampling. The software supports AIFF, WAV, MP3, and AAC audio files.
The History function in ITCH keeps a comprehensive record of every track played and exports sessions from your history to 'txt', 'csv', or 'm3u'. ITCH also has a Loop Roll function that provides a looping effect where the playhead jumps back to normal time when you release the loop. Built-in key support ensures that ITCH reads key tags from MP3 files and displays them in the 'key' column in your library.

Comments about Numark NS7FX Serato Itch NS7 Controller & NSFX:
I use this for my Mobile Dj-ing and so far its quite a beastie system, like the fact its a AiO (all in one), works like 12 inch vyns, easy and really quick setup to sound system, and less cords to hookup/plugin.
The only thing i dislike about it is that it uses another usb port for the fx bar, if the fx bar was built onto the ns7 that would have been super awsome like the ns6, i didnt like the ns6 for the fact it dont have moving platters but a plus for a 4 channel mixer X-C but hey this is the future for mobile, rather to carry 3 seprate cases before now i carry just 1 Xp now thats a plus.
Great things i heard is uh idk where to start all i can say this ns7 is a beast!!! Xp.

Comments about Numark NS7FX Serato Itch NS7 Controller & NSFX:
This product is phenomenal. The rotating platters simulate real vinyl, and give that traditional scratch sound and feel. The bundled software includes colorful waveforms, is full of features, and is easy to navigate. The sound quality is unbeatable! I would definitely recommend this to an intermediate of PRofessional DJ as it provides the tools necessary to have a successful GIG and performance. Its metal chassis is extremely durable and the faders and knobs have a great feel. The aesthetics of this unit are also a huge plus! Numark really set the bar high with this device.

Comments about Numark NS7FX Serato Itch NS7 Controller & NSFX:
I upgraded to this device because of it's ease of use, the fact all the units together for easy transportation, and the great software included. Serato Itch is a great application to use for expert and new dj's. It has the ability to play from an external hard drive and create playlists while using the turntables. The response time between the platters and the software is instant. I am using a Macbook Pro 13" with a 2.66 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 64 bit processor, 4gb 1067 mhx DDR3 memory, and an external eSata 1 terabyte harddrive. I believe this is the best item I've ever purchased.

Q:
can you connect the ns7 with serato scratch live also??Asked on 11/26/2011 by Fern512 from Austin, TX2 answers
A:
This NS7 cannot be connected Serato Scratch.Answered on 11/29/2011 by Jack from Cypress, CAA:
It won't connect directly. You will have to go through quite a bit of cables and audio interfaces. Scratch live is essentially the same as itch. Scratch live's crates are also compatible with itch. But if you are seriously asking this question then you don't need to be using the NS7 w/ scratch live, it seems a bit complex for you.Answered on 12/5/2011 by Heath from Birmingham, Al
