The NuVJ allows DJs to incorporate images and video clips in much the same way as mixing music. With the NuVJ, the VJ can trigger images and video clips, add effects to them, mix them through an onboard DJ style crossfader and tweak them in order to create unique and spectacular shows. The hardware controller works seamlessly with existing DJ gear and the software is compatible with most computers and laptops. The NuVJ is simply easier, better and more affordable than any other VJ product on the market.

Has all the basic functions of a DVJ DVD Player SVM Video Mixer in one package. You can perform live VJ mixing with almost any video clip or image. And it is one of the cheapest video controllers.
Add a video camera or webcam to your computer and you can create a system that would be great for karaoke or teens/college crowds. Has realtime text input. Will play an entire folder of pictures as a slide show. Great effects. Key pads work like a drum pad/sampler.
There is a learning curve, especially with the chromakey effect (like the green-screen special effect). Found that MPEGs sometimes don't work. Slide show does NOT have special transitions (just goes from one picture to the next).
With a couple hours of practice and a little creativity, you can produce a visual presentation that will keep audiences mesmerized for hours.
