i am giving this low rating due to the fact that the ''user-replacable pitch fader'' is like a unicorn.we are pretty sure it exists,but noone has found one.the deck is solid,good build,nice torque,and the selectable pitch range is superb.but what are you gonna do when that pitch fader wears out?order another one from numark?order one from prosound?hit up ebay for parts?no,no,and no.even if you do find a rplacement fader,you may end up getting what i did,from numark.just a fader,with no mother board attached to it.meaning,a useless peice of metal.steer clear of this deck.and all that while i waited for almost 2 years for a backorder pitch.i had to mix on one tt500,and a back up 1200.

These turntables are a great alternative to the "status Quo". You have the ability to adjust start/brake times, instant reverse, you can change the pitch layout. For a basic DJ turntable I wouldn't expect more. The torque is noticeable, it's very stable and built like a tank. That's maybe it's biggest fault because it makes the deck heavy, but who doesn't like well-built products? The circuit boards and all the caps are Ok-ish, not bad at all. The connections are all detachable and standard, so if you forget the power cord or RCA cord you can easily take a computer power cord or take any RCA wire. The only problem I have had with this the ground connector will become loose if you are heavy-handed, but it's an easy fix.
Bottom line: Buy this you won't regret it. I have owned most of the decks that are on this site and I still come back to these.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
