V7 sends control information over USB at more than ten times the standard MIDI rate. This innovative communication technique yields extremely high-precision, low-latency control. There’s nothing like dropping the needle on a record for quickly locating a point in the track. We took that idea and developed our own modern take on it with Strip Search, the unique virtual-needle-drop touch strip. You can locate a point instantly within the track using the on-screen waveform and Strip Search. Five hot-cue-assign buttons on each deck digitally mark your cues on the track. These marker points are recallable in ITCH, and you can even load Scratch LIVE cue points in ITCH. We developed an extensive loop-controls section for creative remix capabilities. You can choose between manual and auto-loop functions and an automatic BPM analyzer further assists loop makers. Creating automatic smart loops of any measure length is a breeze, and you can mutilate and modify to your heart’s content with a variety of controls such as Doubling, Halving, Shift, and manual controls. Multiple loop banks make V7 a great choice for scratch and club DJs alike. Beat matching is straight ahead with 100mm, smooth, stiff pitch sliders and plus and minus buttons, by popular request, for bending. I think this is my FAVORITE DJ controller out right now. The fact that you can change out your mixer that fits you best makes this a WHOLE lot better. I prefer this over the NS7 and the NS6 because it is more durable and it doesnt look or feel like a toy. Its the closest controller that you can find that feels just like Vinyl. I use these just about everday, and so far i have no complaints.... good job numark.

Its a true digital turntable , Numark has really done it and has truly put out a world class turntable , it control's 2 decks in one unit, feels great & give you full control of your music and tracks. sure serato itch is pretty basic but that is only if you let it, If you love the feel of a regular turntable with a vinyl record at your finger tips spinning round and round, your gonna love the numark V7 and be right at home !!!!! Its great for the bedroom DJ , even Mobile DJ's and best of all us Club DJ's

I have had this V7 for about two weeks now and I have not stopped using it every day since. The accuracy is amazing this is not your typical midi controller. Plug and play ready after itch software install.I recommend this product for anyone that wants to step up thier game

I was eyeing the NS7FX but didn't want to give up my Rane 68. I got one of these to try it out and can rock with just the one since it has a switch to control deck A or B. Now that i am sure about it I'll get another.
There is nothing like a real, motorized platter.
