I had Virtual DJ & had no problems with it thats why I bought Virtual Vinyl. I have had no problems with it. Someone said that the CDs were hard to read but I dont know about that. I bought 2 TTX's & a DXM06 mixer that I use & everything works great. The only problem I have is that I cannot leave it connected to my laptop when I cut the laptop on, If I do, it won't read the vinyls. I would have to unhook the USB cord & reconnect it. I believe it is a thing with my laptop. Other than that no probs. Serato cant touch this. VV5 has more to offer than the Serato & I have used & have a Serato box & records collecting dust.

Those who have no problem with this product are the lucky ones. While the software is great, I could not get the TCCDs to work properly in my systems (however I could if I used a friend's Pioneer players). It was as if the system was skipping. I was told it should work, but was unable to get it do so with the Virtual Vinyl box. Funny thing, I could get it work great using my buddy's Serato Box and CDs. My suggestion, get Virtual DJ (same program) and find another way to run it.

Don't buy it. The software is good but the interface sucks. I recently bought one and the interface only worked once. I keep having issues with the drivers, the timecode don't work and it keep saying there is no sound when I play my turntables. [...] I'm stuck with a piece of garbage. I like the Virtual vinyl software better than Serato, but the Serato box definitely sounds better. With some minor setting changes, you can use a Serato box with this program. It's not a big deal, but in order to use this software with a Scracth Live box, you have to reverce the crossfader on your mixer. The one thing I like more than Serato is that in Serato's absolute mode, you still need a mixer to mix. You don;t necessarily need a mixer depending on what type of deejaying you do.

I like Virtual Vinyl because you can actually run the software without the interface box. In other words, you can just use your laptop by itself if you are a mobile DJ. Serato is overrated and cannot be used effectively without the interface box.

I have purchased 3 or 4( purchased for me and my crew),& I have to tell that this product is very easy to use. Hands down it is the best- You have to ask urself what kind of DJ are you- Well no matter this program is tops. I have owned the VCI 300, and it not as good as this- this prgrm can be worked with a keyboard, mouse, or a midi controller, and even turntables or cd plyrs. Serato if it goes down, ur are down for the night. I fully stand behind this product.

This thing virtually (no pun intended) has a mind of its own and decides when and when not to work. The customer support....or lack thereof....is even worse than the core product itself.
Gotta echo some of the previous reviewers and suggest that you save your money and look into other/competitor products......whatever you do, steer clear from this particular product!

The Product is 2 parts, the software that is Awesome, It works with different audio cards.
2. The Numark audio card that is not bad, but it requires twicking and is a little noisy, Just a little. I only notice when in very High System Like concerts or recording. But You really have to pay attention to hear it.
