My thought's on this case are that it is built rock solid, lightweight and it provides protection for your investment. In short, it does what its supposed to do. I like that it has rubber grips on the bottom and a handle on top for easy carrying. It also has latches on the side that allows you to add pad locks to further protect your investment.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

There is a recessed space big enough for a laptop underneath where the actual VCI-300 sits, but the handle on this piece of junk is not meant to withstand the weight of the VCI and a laptop. It is a cheap plastic handle that is barely riveted in place and mine broke off before my first gig. This was the first time I took it out with both the laptop and VCI. Garbage.

Unfortunately Odyssey does not provide us with interior dimensions. They do however make custom cases to fit your specific need if they do not already have a case pre-fabricated.
