Compared to the price of the Numark NS6 this might seem too high of a percentage, but I figured if I'm going to shell out that much dough for the platters I shouldn't be reserved about shelling out for a great shell. And this case is indeed a great home for the NS6. The padding has already been glued into place such that when you set it into the bottom of the case it fits neatly. All in all you're looking at lugging around about 25 to 30lbs. My biggest gripe is that there were no instructions for how to assemble the case and insert the NS6. Especially frustrating was figuring out attach the two wedge-shaped pads onto the bottom of the slide-out shelf. When you slide the top shelf into its home position, these pads are supposed to keep the NS6 from rattling around. For the most part they do that, but these pads weren't cut exactly the same size (kludgy) and they need to be about 1/4 inch thicker to ensure the NS6 is kept snug as a bug when traveling. I had to resort to looking at the product picture to figure out (1) which way to install the slide out shelf, and (2) where to position the pads. All-in-all though I'm happy and I hope my NS6 is too!

This case is super sturdy! The ns6 slides right in and doesn't budge. The laptop shelf is the best feature :) however.... The foam blocks that hold the ns6 from flopping around when you carry the case don't exactly do their job, there's still a little play. I plan on contacting odyssey to get some new blocks soon. Other than that, great case! I would recommend it over a soft case it's worth the price.
