I got this as a home for the NS6 and it really is a good case overall. The reason I gave it less that 5 stars is due to the lack of forethought on the holes in the glide tray and the need for me to tweek a few things to get it to work correctly.

First, the glide tray holes are placed about 2-3 inches from the sides and will be blocked if you are using a MBP 15" and plan to keep it along either side edge. Not ideal. Also they are not finished so the cables going though may get tore up over time due to the ply-wood tunnels.

Second, I had to buy a couple washers from a local hardware store to allow enough room for the glide tray stopper to slide past the first rivit and hit at the right spot to stop correctly.

Its a solid unit but has some things that could use a finishing touch. It seems like they rushed to release it. If you plan to stack it on top of the cover, you will have to unscrew the feet on the bottom to allow it to rest in the ball corners correctly. I placed mini rubber feet in each ball joint divit to keep it from sliding off.

I hope that helps! If you buy it, prepare for some work.

I use this case because I travel a lot. The black label case makes me stand out from the rest.
It's great protection for my Numark NS6 and the built in laptop stand is a plus.
I wish this case could have been a little bit lighter but that's not much of an issue.
Overall, It's the best protection for your equipment and that's what matters.
