This item is perfect for Serato users, lay your laptop on it and you end up with a nice, clean looking setup. What I did add to this was Velcro on the rails and the bottom of my laptop, just to be on the safe side and no have it slip off. Feel more comfortable having my laptop on this now.

it was nice to see my macbook on this thing .. instead of looking sideways to use Serato. The problem is, with the clamp on my mixer case, i still really dont have much room to sit my Pioneer EFX500. With the stand under my mixer case, there isnt a chance the Pioneer EFX-500 will be functional at all. Wish there was some telescopic rail to raise it more than it can at maximum height. the pads that are on the screw clamp seem cheap, after a few detach/attach situations, it became useless and felt like it would come off. So I have it installed in a stationary system. Mobile installation - not recommended as the parts will get worn out. Not suitable if you have Serato (and wish to attach it) and also have a Pioneer EFX-500 setup. Will support a 17" Apple Mac Book Pro though, but not 100% sturdy, it may wobble. I think Odyssey released this product just to have something else out there besides the Uber stand.

Compliments any Odyssey Coffin or studio counter top!!! Have everything right in-front of you instead of having to reach over to the side! Protect your investment and have your laptop within reach and avoid having someone knock anything on your laptop!!! A must have for those club dj's or club owners!!! Helps the everyday DJ create faster mixes!!!

was a lil hard to setup...could be more sturdy.
the 3 different set-ups gives you versatility which a lot of people will like having. i do a lot of mobile gigs so i have yet to really "test" it out yet. overall, a good product.

Its a very helpful peice, it makes djing with a laptop so much easier. Al less strain on the back and neck going back and forth trying to access the computer mounted to the side. It is doesn't seem to be extremely heavy duty, but for most laptops i guess it doesnt really have to be. I did take a while to put together out of the box. The instructions were not very helpful.
