By far the easiest method of raising a lighting system 80” off the floor. The easy-to-use power crank-up height adjustment system operates with any standard electric or cordless drill. The 48” top T-bar holds up to 4 par cans, while the two 24” side mount bars each hold 2 par cans , for a total of 8 par cans.

Comments about On Stage Stands On Stage Power Crank Up Light Stand:
Quick to set up and break down. Crank makes raising and lowering lights a snap. Stand is heavy, so an aluminum version would be great.
Upper shaft has a single "stop screw" to prevent it from telescoping completely into the stand. If the upper shaft receives a blow on the end when the "stop screw" is near the clutch, the upper tube can be bent by the impact of the "stop screw" on the clutch, allowing the upper shaft to completely telescope into the stand. The packaging does nothing to protect the upper shaft and "stop screw" (a cardbard tube would be enough). Three of four stands were received with this damage.

Received this item in good packaging very quick thanks to pssl. It is very sturdily built and looks like it will last forever. I would recommend using O-Clamps to hold up the lights.

Comments about On Stage Stands On Stage Power Crank Up Light Stand:
Great lighting stand for mobile/wedding DJs. Has good height and simple to use. The crank takes some time to lift manually, but gets the job done. I have used the stand for pinspotting and gobo projection. I have not tried using the stand for dance lighting with the extra T-bar and side-bars.
It is fairly long when transporting and is a little heavy. Also, the first few times I used this stand, the legs were a bit stiff and took a little more effort to open up.

Comments about On Stage Stands On Stage Power Crank Up Light Stand:
It's great when you can double all your lights on on the top of the tee. I put 8 effect lights. That's pretty heavy. The down side is you better have the telescoping sleeve that does not crank where you want it before you put the lights on it. If you put the arms on the tree you better have a ladder or a chair if you are under six feet tall. Otherwise it is a back saver! This light tree will crank up higher than you will ever need.

Comments about On Stage Stands On Stage Power Crank Up Light Stand:
This light stand is very tall which is a plus. It is very sturdy and well constructed. A couple of improvements would be a second crank for the upper column of the stand extension. If you have some heavy lights it is difficult to raise due not only to the weight of the lights but the height of the stand itself puts your initial load well above your head. Secondly the arms are difficult to attach to the column. Perhaps providing the upper column as a removable piece with fold out arms would make this stand more user friendly.
This is an extremely well made stand for the price but I would pay twice as much with the above mentioned additions.

The stand is worth paying a little extra for the crank system. Put on your lights and then crank it up!

Pound for pound the best value. You can load it up while standing on the ground and lift a ton of weight easily with the crank system. I have a manual stand as well and actually caused myself an injury trying to raise it full of lights.
No more pain :-)
