Organized all of my gear and brought it within arms reach. Has a place for everything, is very customizable, and expandable. Had one problem with the hole for a bolt being drilled in the wrong place, but there was another bolt within 2 inches and it was in a plcae where there was structural support from three other steel bars. It took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble. If you're going to put anything on the 2nd tier, it will have to be 33" minimum or you'll have to add something to span the distance between the brackets. I found that some leftover bamboo flooring planks that I had worked nicely.

I purchased one of these a year ago and it works great!!!
It helped me arrange and clean-up our little office/studio room. It is a very, very sturdy
unit. If you have very little space or need to keep all of your studio gear in one small area of you room nicely arranged, than this is you ticket.
When ordering, keep in mind that this BEAST ships in three different (Heavy) boxes!!!
I will Admit that I found this unit with the best price at pssl.com!!!!

Nice piece of furniture. I was looking for something that would keep my Studio together and this fits the bill nicely.
Only beef is lack of flat surface for a mixer. I would also like it to be even more adjustable in terms of keyboard height.

Definitely one of the best value product for the price. I also own a quiklok Z555. The only thing Z555 is better that it has a Mixer table and roller caster. This stand is really well engineered and easy to ensemble. I wish it has at least 8 rack space or more.

Comments about On Stage Stands On Stage WS8700 Professional Workstation/Stand +:
The stand came in 3 boxes securely packaged. Had to use the online manual as none was in the box. Also had to look at one of the other on-stage stands to figure out which knobs to use for height adjustment, (knobs were not identified properly). One riser didn't line up with the holes in side B so it had to be drilled. Stand is fully adjustable and built solid. Makes DAW use a breeze as everything is at your fingertips. I am currently using a mid size tower, one 19" LCD, Korg M50 61 key and a Roland A30 with the stand. My monitors JBL model 38s are too large but Behringer Truth will work fine with it. All in all a stand that has made my life a lot easier.

Comments about On Stage Stands On Stage WS8700 Professional Workstation/Stand +:
I'm putting together a home studio built around this workstation. It holds my 88 & 61 key boards, and studio monitors nicely. For now I have a mixer on one of the platforms. I haven't acquired a new computer but, I do have an old laptop on the 4th platformIt[...]. It's pretty stable due to the "outrigger" legs behind each "Z".My first complaint is the unit should be able to adjust a little bit lower than it's minimum. Not a show stopper. The second minor issue is the CPU tower clearance. It looks like a shade over 16 inches in the configuration I'm using - keyboard as low as possible. This might be an issue as I shop for new iron to replace my (ancient) laptop. I suppose the hot setup would be to have a rack-mount case mounted in workstations rack.So far I'm really pleased with it. Meets my essential needs very well: sturdy, stable and has capacity to hold a lot of gear.

Comments about On Stage Stands On Stage WS8700 Professional Workstation/Stand +:
If you're looking for a compact but sturdy stand for home studio use, this is an awesome stand. It is NOT a flimsy workstation. The steel framework and tubing is more than enough to withstand the beating that a frustrated artist/musician can dish out. The design is highly flexible with lots of ways to adjust heights and widths to accomodate your gear. My only issue is the assembly instructions which were adequate but somewhat sparse. It ships in 3 boxes, with the instructions buried in the bottom of one, so don't freak out when you open the boxes and don't find instructions right away. Overall, the combined flexibility and features for the ProStand is perfect for holding your turntables, keyboards, monitors, and rackmount devices for your home studio.

Comments about On Stage Stands On Stage WS8700 Professional Workstation/Stand +:
This rack is the real deal. I had my doubts when i bought it, cause it LOOKS sweet but i hadn't seen it anywhere so i thought it might be cheap and flimsy, but its NOT. This stand is a beast. it's perfect for any keyboardist/pianist who needs a good work station that can hold you're computer, keyboard, speakers, mixer and even has a rack for for fx processors and what not.
I have all my gear in my room which is carpeted and on my old stand when i played the keyboard would shake around because of the thick carpet. but this workstation is ROCK SOLID. It's heavy enough to not feel like a flimsy stand, but light enough if you need to take it on a gig.
I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone it's highly versatile and and very high quality. it's the real deal.

The two small stands in the middle, are those designed to hold the computer screens? If so, are they sturdy enough able to hold 22in widescreen lcd monitors?Asked on 2/12/2011 by estevan from los angeles3 answers
A:
The 2 stands in the middle are more fashioned to hold additional monitors or a small monitor. If you had a larger lcd monitor, I wouldn't recommend placing it on either of the those stands.Answered on 4/26/2012 by Justin from Cypress, CAA:
I did not like the way the stand was sagging with my imac on one side, a 23 lcd on the other side looked fine, I would say a 22 would be ok, an imac? I would not chance it, see my review and pics for the way I set the desk up....
