Im a vinyl dj I spin all types of electronic music and rap/battle genres, and this needle has great output, great tracking and back-cueing capabilities, handles moderate to heavy scratching(vigorous and constant scracthing: i'd recommend upgraded editions of concordes(nightclubs s, djs, q-berts, scratch and DEFINATELY the new serato-S-120's) the best part about these is there frequency response I have a particular frquency threshhold for my monitors and these produce the perfect sound. also if you already own these you can just upgrade the stylus instead of the whole cartridge. which brings me to the lows the suspension on these isn't as good as the new ones. so take this advice cartridge=weight and the stylus=suspension. all ortofon's make great sound reproduction and can be relied upon for almost any occasion.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
