I was pleasently suprised with my Ovation when it came out of the box. It truly is spectacular to look at. The blue jumps out at you and the sparkle of the trim catches your eye. It sounds great and all electronics work as they are supposed to. The built in tuner is very convienient. Drab same ole spruce top no more. This thing is flashy. A true work of art as well as a nice instrument. If you want to stand out in a crowd this is the guitar, if you want to stand back and not be noticed get another. Bruce
