The Ultra 2071 gives the player the best of both the acoustic and electric worlds, with cool features such as Ovation's Deep Contour GS body, scalloped LX bracing, soft V" neck profile, and the OP Pro preamp making it one of the best values in the mid-price range acoustic-electric guitar world. Other important features include an AA grade solid Sitka spruce top, classic Ovation Abalone rosette, rosewood fingerboard and Ovation High Output pickup. Ultra models begin as sub-assemblies crafted at Ovation's offshore factory. Once basic construction is finished, sub-assemblies are shipped to Ovation's New Hartford, CT workshop, where their team of highly skilled craftsmen carry out the final assembly work and instrument set-up.
