I got one of these saturday evening and used it that night and it was great and im sayin that coming from a qsc usa 1310 that crossover is so simple to set. This thing is just wonderful. i cant wait to see what it will to with 4 tops and 4 bottoms, and yes it can handle the 2 ohm loads

hi.. i was wondering if the ipr-3000 is built internally tough enough to withstand the ruggedness of road racks..?

Also .. would you recommend it for daisey chaining 200watt-8ohms monitors per channel ...?

                  A:

It should be able to withstand road condition. It just depends on how bad it will be on the road. On daisy chaining the amps, I would contact Peavy. It's possible to do it but I would double check with there tech department.

                  A:

I would not suggest getting 1000w amp for a 600w set of speakers. I good rule of them is to exceed your speaker wattage by about 100w, max 200w. In the scenario about you would be exceeding your speaker's wattage by 400w which would create the potential for you to blow your speakers out. So try for an 800w amp.

What does the amp push at 8 ohms? Looking for another amp to power my SP 118 8 ohm subs. I have a global series 3500 now powering sp4 mains, the IPR seems more affordable.

IPR 3000 is clearly labeled on the box as 440 8ohms- 840 40hms. It is conservative as I have used it to run everything from Mackie C300 cabs to Jbl Mpro 18 subs. These amps rock!!

Yes it sure does run 8 ohms. 440 watts per channel is marked on the box as well as 840 4 ohms and 1500 per channel 2 ohms, which I run 2x when needed.
