No highs coming out right side what do I do
Jamie on Feb 24, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-945-9300 to troubleshoot.
I use these speakers. They are great. I daisy chain two with a mono signal.

I am looking for a new amp... what wattage should I use to really power these, but not blow them?

Thanks

Rex

BEST ANSWER: I recommend a Crown amp or a QSC amp that will give you 400 - 800 watts at 8 ohms per channel.
whats the difference in sound quality between these and pv115's
null on Feb 1, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The PR-15-NEO will sound a little better because they have a built in crossover. However, The pv115's are made out a more heavy duty material

Screamers
Pros: Powerful,Great Sound Quality,Easy To Connect,Attractive Design,Crisp Sound

I have had these speakers (same pair) for about 4 years now. At first I thought not enough bass. Here's the tip. When pushed to higher volume you need to trim down the highs big time. The horns overpower the 15s. I use a QSC GX5 amp, and when I get loud, I GET LOUD . I attenuate my highs to about 50% lower than flatt, and leave the lows flat when cranking up the dance floor. I feel like I stole something at the price of these. The highs are soooo smooth too. Unless you get a faulty unit, you can't go wrong with these. Don't try to put too deep of Bass (below 50hz) I have 2 PV118 subs for larger gigs (hint, hint).

Fantastic Speakers for Mobile KJ
Pros: Attractive Design,Great Sound Quality,Easy To Connect

I'm a full time KJ and these speakers are easy to set up and hook up. Excellent highs and mids when on poles. I use a pair of Behringer 18" subs for the lows. Cranked with a Behringer 2500W amp this is a unbeatable combination for venues of any size. I also use a 12 2way Peavy floor monitor running off a Behringer 1500W amp. Singers really appriciate being able to hear what they are singing at a volume they can stand.

Wise investment for mobile DJ's!
Pros: Compact,Great Sound Quality,Attractive Design,Easy To Connect,Powerful

For the money these are the best speakers for mobile DJ's. Very light weight to carry, easy to set(especially on tripods) and overall outstanding sound.

Good for the Buck
Pros: Easy To Connect,Light weight,Attractive Design
Cons: Poor Sound Quality,Replace w other rawframe,Super cheap woofers,Careful on the highs

Had these after doing smaller gigs and sold my older PV's. these are very light. but they are for much smaller gigs. put some padding in them for sound. cabnets crackle with bass. highs start getting weird at Higher volume. i replaced the woofers with b-52 woofers. works better

The staple of my DJ diet
Pros: Great Sound Quality,Durable,Attractive Design,Easy To Connect
Cons: Needs more powerful tweet,Hard to tighten pole bolt

These speakers go my gigs 9x's out of 10. I have filled large fields to small dinner halls with rich music using these speakers. Like any speaker you have to EQ them to get the best sound. I wish they had a more powerful tweeter as I have blown the tweeter protection fuse a few times but at least it wasn't the horn itself. I can car both at one time one in each hand. My only big gripe is the pole mounting system/bolt. Very hard to get to and the bolt chews apart the pole every time. It would be nice if the bolt pushed a rounded piece of metal or plastic against the pole rather than digging into on its own. I also own the PR-10's and love them.

"I would recommend these to mobile DJs"
Pros: Great Sound,Easy To Set Up,Compact,Clear sound,Attractive Design

A great investment for me as a mobile DJ. The highs are great, the weigth is perfect for easy setup. I use them on tripods and at the end of the night they do not break your back carrying these out. The 15" are great size for all occasions, small to medium parties. [...]Thanks Mark A.
