Comments about Peavey PV-215 Dual 15 2-Way Speaker Enclosure *:
I purchased these speakers to upgrade from my dfx speakers and wow what a major improvement. I did my first gig with them a week ago for a returning client and she was amazed that my setup sounded way better. I am pushing these with a behringer ep2000 amp and I didnt even have the amp turned all the way up and people were saying it was alot louder. I like these speakers because I dont need to push my amp as hard and I don't need to adjust my eq as much like my old speakers.
I would recomend these to anyone that is looking to upgrade to a nice clean and smaller tower. they have clear bass, mids, and highs.

Comments about Peavey PV-215 Dual 15 2-Way Speaker Enclosure *:
You would need to put these on top of a subwoofer to really get the deep bass sound necessary to DJ school dances, sweet 16's, weddings, etc... Not a bad speaker, but be advised that Peavey uses their entry level "Sheffield" woofers in these speakers and they have a tendency to blow when driven too hard. I listened to these @ my local [...], but a lack of bass & no Speakon inputs discouraged me from purchasing.

it's more of choice but if I have to recommend I'd say get a Behringer EP4000 for a lot of head space especially if your going to push heavy sound it will do it's workAnswered on 9/6/2011 by Dj SF from Indio,Ca
