Comments about Peavey PV1500 Pv Series Power Amplifier:
This is currenctly the oldest piece of equipment I still have. It was one of the first pieces I bought for my PA system and though everything else I have has come and gone, this power amp has survived all the work I put it through. I run live sound mostly for metal concerts of different sizes, both inside and outside. After years of using it I have only recently found that it does start to give out if overheated. However that was only during an all day metal festival in the summer with no AC. So with that being said, this is a good investment. You definitely get your money's worth.

Comments about Peavey PV1500 Pv Series Power Amplifier:
Peavey amps are the best. Good sound and reliable. This is my second PV amp that I used this past weekend in a 4-speaker setup. But it will also serve a purpose as a backup when I'm only using a 2-speaker setup.

Comments about Peavey PV1500 Pv Series Power Amplifier:
Durable! DDT Speaker protection is great! When the amp clips (and it will, given enough of a load), the circuitry in this amp automatically compresses (reduces the volume) of the signal. Don't know how many times I've been DJ'ing a set, walked into the crowd with my wireless mic or joined the dancefloor, and come back to the DDT protection yet again saving my speakers. Prices for the PV line of amps are reasonable too. Did I mention durable? Even the cardboard box it comes in is durable - I've been hauling mine around in the cardboard box for ~2.5 years and the box is still in one piece! Only downside to this amplifier is its weight and bulkiness.
