yes, JBL Recommends an Amplifier Power between 500-1000 watts @ 4ohms per side so specific amp does Stereo 900w @ 4 ohms.

        A:

Any amp that puts out a minimum of 1000 Watts per channel at 4 Ohms will work for these speakers. I would not recommend using any amp with less than 1000 w per channel, it will cut into your performance. I would consider the Crown line of amplifiers. what is bi-amp on the peavey sp2? Can I use bi-amp for my speakers?I have a peavey pv2600 amplifier.
Asked on 5/12/2011 by cobra from new orleans,la

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

The bi-amp means that the speaker has a cross-over witch will send the high frequencies to the tweeter and the low frequencies to the driver. And the pv2600 can work with this speaker fine.
