Used this tape at a large Hotel chain where they had a lot of restrictions to put down equiptmnet and wires. So I used this tape all over the place after I showed them the brand name they knew this stuff would not leave gum marks all over the carpet or walls. Very happy with this product so I got all my deposit back.

Great product that does not leave a residue after use, even when used outdoors in direct sunlight. Matte, non-glossy fabric-type texture gives a more professional look. The only way to improve on appearances than using the gaffers tape would to have either carpeting or tracks.
Much better than using duct tape, but will pay a bit more. For a professional look, it is worth the investment.

If you are a DJ or a band stop using duck tape. Duck tape destroys your cables and many locations will not allow duck tape, only Gaffers tape.

For all the uses touted about Duct Tape, Permacell Gaffers tape goes even farther. To start, gaffers tape will not leave a sticky residue. Even after of week of holding cables securely to a carpet floor, it comes right up. Just be sure to not let the sticky side touch the sticky side. It tears easily and adheres immediately right where you need it. And it holds, and holds and holds. I couldn't do my job as well if I didn't have it.

For those of you who have been using duct tape or something similar to hold cables to the floor, or any surface you MUST use gaff tape. This tape holds to almost any surface, even dusty stages, and it easily peels off leaving no residue and will not make cables sticky for the next use.
