This is great tape for securing sound system cables and cords to carpet or hard floors for performances. I tape my cords and cables down, then pull the tape and stick it back on the roll when the concert is over. It can be reused at least 2-3 times (depending on how dirty the floors are), which brings the cost per use down to the price of duct tape. This tape is FAR superior to duct tape though, especially because it leaves no residue on floors OR on the cables, even when left in place for several days.
The bright yellow color is a safety factor by making the cable placement highly visible. This helps prevent people from tripping over cables taped to the floor where they are used to walking on a regular basis.
This tape sticks well to the floor, but is still easy to pull off the roll, unlike another brand of stage tape that I have. THAT tape sticks to the roll so well that it is hard to peel off.
