Hi everyone. I'm Rick Peeples with Chauvet DJ, and today we're going to take a little tour of our SlimPAR family. There's 9 on a table in front of me, and that's not all we have. We have a SlimPAR 38, we have a SlimPAR 56, we have a SlimPARip, outdoor rated for those rainy days. Those have 10 millimeter LEDs, they're a little older than our family. These are our new USB versions. So we're gonna focus a little bit more on these today. Why are there so many? Par cans have been around forever, people always demand them. They're great for a stage wash, they're great for wall washes, they're great for highlighting areas, there's multiple uses. These are indispensable lights to get color and/or lighting to any area of your event. So today, hopefully I can try to help you decide which one of these units you should buy, which one of these units you should buy in addition to what you already have, and give you a little broader idea of what purposes they all fit into.
Price point is always a concern for everybody. So we have the T-series. T is for tri. That's a red, blue, and green diode, all in one. We have a 6, which is 6 LEDs, and a 12, which gives you 12 LEDs, which of course is going to give you more power output. One of the advantages besides price point on the T6 is it can fit right into a piece of assembled truss. So if you decide to truss warm your rig after it's build, you have no problems. Put them right in. With the larger ones, you're gonna put that in before you actually assemble the pieces.
We have the Q-series. Quad. RBGA. Again, with 6 LEDs and/or 12, giving you the Q6 and Q12. If you need more vibrant oranges, hot pinks, more color combinations, and that coveted amber color that weddings love, these are the peak fixtures for you. Here we have a 12 LED fixture a little bit different. It's new to the family. This is also a quad-color fixture. But is a QUV, so it's a red, blue, green, plus UV. Gives you that black-light for those special event parties, and adds some great hues to all the other color mixing. You get some wonderful colors out of this, at a great price point.
Next up is the H. The H6 to be exact, Hex for hex colors. Red, blue, green, white, and amber. Six diodes. Some people call us and say they won't do anything other than hex. If you need trillions of colors, if you need that cool white out of one diode and UV, this is the fixture for you. There is not a color it can't mix. Unless you're trying to make brown, then it's a little bit more difficult.
If you're working on installs, schools, theaters, small or medium churches, items like that where they're going to be beat on on a daily basis, you want to go to our SlimPAR Pro line. All these comes with an attachable gel frame holder and gel frame, and you can put 7.5"" barn doors and most 7.5"" accessories in here for the Pro-feeder aspect that you're going to need in those type environments. These also come in assorted flavors. We have a Q, quad. RGBA. Red, blue, green, and amber, just like we have over here, for great colors. The full-blown, all-in-one hex unit, red, blue, green, amber, white, plus UV. Not a color that you can't make. And all new to the family, is a white. This is a variable white. It actually has three diodes in it. Warm white, cool white, and amber. So there's no color temperature that you can't mix with this light. Perfect for those front-of-house applications, maybe even houselights depending on where you need white light. This is the one for you, you can match all those tungsten lamps.
All of them can be linked D-fi USB, a nice little gadget that's sold separately. So when you buy it, it doesn't receive wireless DMX, it must be cable. With this device, plug it in, and now you can make them receive or transmit wireless DMX or wireless masterslave so you can eliminate cables when are where you need them. Also they all function with the IRC 6 remote control. Very simple, very easy, all you gotta do is aim it at the light, and you can take control.
So hopefully I've been able to help you make a decision on what to pick for your rig, or what to pick to add to your rig. Now stay tuned, because we're always adding more products to our line, and this line is going to expand. So until then, I'm Rick Peeples for Chauvet DJ, thank you for watching.
