The CDJ800MK2 retains the same key design themes found in many of Pioneers CDJ products with a stylish new silver metallic finish and metallic buttons. It employs additional features for outstanding performance.
Features:- MP3 Support:The MP3 audio format has taken the world by storm and now the CDJ800MK2 can play all your MP3s; CBR or VBR at any bitrate from CDR or CDRW.
- Improved Jog Dial:The CDJ800MK2s 7" jogdial has been improved to a slightly stiffer feel as well as a new metallic nonslip finish for better scratch performance. The Jog Dial Display is now brighter and has been brought closer to the surface of the Jog for better viewing angles. The center display also features 45degree markers for added visual cueing assistance.
- Updated Display:The main display can now show CDText and ID3 data for rapid track identification.
- Expanded Internal MemoryMore memory points can now be recorded to the players internal memory for rapid recall of your commonly used cue points.
- Auto Beat Loop:Uses 4 timing buttons to instantly create perfect 1 2 4 or 8 beat loops. When a loop has been produced manually with the loop in and loop out buttons this feature allows instant 1/1 1/2 1/4/ 1/8 beat cuts of the initial loop. Holding the LoopIn button allows you to further cut the beat down to 1/32nd
- Quick Return:Enables a track to return instantly again and again to a cue point just by pressing the surface of the Jog Wheel.
- "Wide" Pitch Control:DJs can use the / 100 pitch control range to create new sound effects from opposite ends of the sound spectrum and also to BPM match completely different tracks.
- New Metallic Finish:New metallic buttons and pitch slider give the CDJ800MK2 a fresh new look.

You wanna spin with the big dogs without spending the BIG money? Then pick up a pair of these decks. I own two decks. They do just about everything the CDJ1000 do minus some minor details. If you don't plan to store tons of memory cue points or have hot cue's, these are for you. I'm a turntable DJ at heart. I wanted something to help ease my back from taking 10 bags of music to the club three to four nights a week. I was lucky these came out when I was looking to buy CDJ's. The only thing that bugs me is when you do a fast backspin, the memory buffer runs low and begins to pause (usually after backspining for 5-7seconds). Other than that they are a great buy for the dollar. Cool features to check out are both the auto loop buttons and the quick return (not available on the CDJ1000).

I use my cdj-800mk2s with Scratch live and have had no technical issues since, just remember not to use master cue :P.
Pioneer still makes the best cd equipment in the industry and continues to impress me with their product line. These tables are a digital dj's bread and butter next stop upgrade mixer!

I play several clubs in NY and the tri-state, but I had the best use in Club Touch in NYC when the engineered paired a single deck with Serato, therefore making a a left side single use. Paired with tight equipment (JBL, Crown, Pioneer mixer) this deck goes the distance. Many starting DJ's are a miles away beginning with vinyl, so these are a great buy for CD's. I will endorse these any time!!!!!!!!!

these tables emulate vinyl flawlessly.I still use cds for mixing and the 800s load faster than the 1000s and I feel that they are more responsive for half the money. Get them,as the Denons and the Technics drag when you are mixing.Cds realy have to be in bad shape for this player not to read and play it.Excellent for Serato, too. I have used my friends' Serato system but have not converted yet.

This is truly a remarkable user friendly product. I have yet to experience any cd turntable that comes close to the quality of the CDJ-800's. I recently had the Numark HDXs and honestly it was a purchasing mistake that I will never make again. The CDJ-800's "GO HARD"!!! Thanks PSSL!!!

This is a great player that I've owned two of. I got rid of one to replace with a Technics 1200mk2 and use both with M-Audio's Torq flawlessly. Very easy to use and has a great feel to it, so you know you have Pioneer's renowned build quality in it.

Although all my club work is done on the 1000 I dont need so many options for on the go or home work. The 800's pack the same feel and a better mp3 playback in my opinion. The vinyl mode is amazingly accurate, when scratching on the 800 you almost feel as if you are using vinyl. For almost 1/2 the price of a 1000 you cant go wrong. I have and always will be a vinyl junkie, but using the 800's gives me that vinyl feeling for an amazingly cheap price. Not to mention the tricks you can use with this table by simple adjustments to the start and stop speeds with the vinyle mode are great. New sounds can be created on the spot when learning the ins and outs of this deck.

Made me do something I said I would never do ,stop taking my 1200's on gigs , I actually can do things with the 800cdj that I cant with the 1200's . I now use a laptop for my music library and go...You have to go with technology... I had a DJ tell me not to get them go for the 1000cdj but for the price difference , it did not make sense . I would take the 800's over the 1000's anyday Ive been on both not much difference at all. some DJ's in my area prefer Denon but I do not for the feel of wax u cant miss with the pioneers at all
