I've had this product for 3 years and it has never let me down. If it could read mp3 files, it'd just be one more thing that this badboy could do. A phenomenal product. It is worth every penny.

I've been using the CMX3000 for almost 4yrs now. And through every gig, it has'nt let me down once! I average about 4-6 gigs a month part-time; each lasting at least 6hrs each. Never had any problems whatsoever. Great high quality sound, a disc could be in terrible shape(i.e...scratches,dirty) and it will still play most of time without a problem. If I had to say something that I didn't like about the CMX3000 it would be that it doesn't play MP3 disc.

It doesnt seem like it would play mp3's and also doesnt seem like there is a software that you can use with this unit that will enable it to play mp3 discs.
