Pioneer DDJ-T1 Traktor Controller
The DDJ-T1 controller makes "plug-and-play" capability much easier with USB connection right to your laptop. Also included is a computer dock that allows a laptop's keyboard to slip under the controller bringing the monitor closer to the DJ. This also provides fast visuals of song information while mixing. To prevent the fader caps from slipping this device adopts Pioneer's "P-LOCK Fader Cap".

This particular Pioneer setup is magnificent! As a professional DJ and Producer, that has been through many set's of DJ equipment from vinyl to CD, from CD to software, all being brands of either Technics MKII's or Pioneer CDJ, this is by far the best thing that I have ever owned! Takes zero time to get used to unless you are just beginning, still this amazing piece of artwork gives you the complete ability to DJ the old fashioned way (in which I prefer), or with the (Sync) function to save yourself on those difficult mixes or just to learn how a mere mix fits together. But, here is the best part! When you order this product from PSSL, if you receive Edition 1 of Traktor, Pioneer automatically sends you via email upon registering your product and software, a FREE upgrade serial number to the 2nd DDJ edition of Traktor Pro!!! You must do the upgrade!! I am so happy with this product!!! Thank you PSSL for meeting my every expectation!!!

The 2 controllers are basically the same. Just one with 2 channels for serato and one with 4 for traktor. Depending on which program you use, each one has a characteristic of its own. All you do is from the Traktor software interface,yes it will play! navigate to your music library folders.This controller also Automaps itself with the Traktor Software, so no need for manual mapping of any controller button,fader or jog wheel functions! I am so happy with this and I really recommend this product! I hope that I was able to answer your question with exact precise information "Kira". If not, then you may be thinking that these may have some sort of CD function, in that case, no, this is a DJ midi mapped control hardware for Traktor Pro only! But come on! with this, no need to carry all of those CD's, nor spend that extra cash on those huge spools of CD-R's! Just pull out your laptop, plug your pioneer AC adapter in and the USB from your pc to the controller, pull up Traktor and you are ready to rock out, even if you forget your AC adapter, it still works the the USB, just no fancy bright lights nor much mic power!
