Comments about Pioneer DJM-700K 4-Channel DJ Mixer W/MIDI-Black:
The built in effects are great! The DJM-700k also has MIDI support so this automatically makes it one of the best MIDI controllers on the market too.
Quality:
First and foremost, the DJM-700 is VERY heavy; built like a tank. No gimmicks here. No edges jutting out, no wasted space on the face, and plenty of connections on the back. Pioneer realized the DJM-700 would be the center piece of professional DJ setups around the world and built it accordingly.
Sound:
It's no wonder that that Pioneer DJM mixers are the club standard around the world. The DJM-700 sounds amazing. The build quality is tops, all of the knobs and crossfaders are very smooth and precise. The DJM-700 is worth every bit of money I paid for it.
Ease of Use:
All of the knobs and faders are cleanly laid out.

Comments about Pioneer DJM-700K 4-Channel DJ Mixer W/MIDI-Black:
I just got this mixer less than a week ago and I've had five, 5 hour "practice" sessions with this mixer and I've not even tapped into 30% of the potential of the mixer. I'm blown away by the fidelity and great construction quality of this product. Sliders and knobs are easy to use, I'm definetly a "hands on" bloke so I experimented with the product before reading the book. I would recommend this product to any experience DJ or studio recorder that wants quality, accurate music reproduction and durability.

Q:
Is Pioneer djm 700 compatible with Mac Book Pro osx lionAsked on 12/9/2011 by ed from chicago1 answer
A:
Yes, the DJM-700K should be compatible with your Macbook Pro w/Lion. You have to have a compatible DJ Software program installed on your Mac in order to opperate this Mixer. I would recomend the Serato Itch or the Traktor. Feel free to call us directly with any more questions. 800 945 9300.Answered on 12/12/2011 by Garrett from Cypress, CA

Q:
Can you video mix with DJM 700 like the 800Asked on 4/26/2011 by Anonymous2 answers
A:
This is only good for audio mix.Answered on 4/27/2011 by Henry from Cypress,CAA:
Wrong! With a midi usb interface you can mix video so there's no need to buy a TTM57 or a 800. I have this exact mixer and I can crossfade audio & video...but you need a midi usb interface like the Cakewalk UM-1G plugged into the mixer's midi output and then assign the channels in the midi panel in serato.Answered on 9/14/2011 by DJ Tecniq from FL
