PIONEER DJM800 WORLD S FIRST 96kHz/24bit MIXER WHICH ALLOWS EASY HARMONIC MIXING AND REMIXING
Although the DJM800 has the same dimensions as the worlds club standard the DJM600 its features are more similar to the DJM1000 than the 600. With powerful builtin effects and Harmonic Mixing capability all at 96kHz / 24bit sound its set to become the new club and Pro DJ standard.
Features:- 96kHz/24bit audio: The DJM800 inherits the high fidelity technology of its big brother the DJM1000. The analog signal from the player passes through the shortest signal route first digitized at 96kHz / 24bit through a pro A/D converter where it reaches the digital mixing stage with the best sound possible. The mixing is carried out by 32bit DSP without deterioration of sound quality thus producing the best quality sound.
- Harmonic Mixing Capability: The worlds first Auto Harmonic Tuning function detects the key of song and automatically corrects it to the closest harmonic key by sampling the key the song is in and moving it to the closest standard pitch key. Of course a DJ still has to know some basics about music such as which keys match in order to do a sonically perfect harmonic mix.
- Filter Sweep Crush effects: DJM800 incorporates a highpass / lowpass filter notch filter and bit crusher effect for ALL channels. In conjunction with the additional Beat Effects 50 combinations of effects are possible.
- Beat Effects: Higher quality effects at 24bits make for a cleaner sounding remix. The effects automatically detect the BPM of the music and sync to the beats. DJM800 includes some familiar effects plus some new ones: Echo Delay Reverse Delay Pan Transform Filter Flanger Phaser Reverb Robot Chorus Roll and Reverse Roll.
- Digital In/Out: Digital inputs and outputs allow for connection with other digitalcapable equipment for a fully digital chain without degradation of sound quality. A perfect mixer not only for the club professional but in a recording studio environment where high fidelity sound is required.
- Fully Assignable MIDI function: You can send out MIDI signal from almost all knobs and switches on the surface of the DJM800 to external midi equipment a total of over 60 assignable controls. Since the mixer can send out many MIDI signals it can be used as a flexible interface to control software or hardware such as Ableton Live or an Edirol V4 video mixer..
- Dimensions: 12-5/8 in. (W) x 15 in. (D) x 4-1/4 in. (H) Weight: 8kg / 17.6 lbs

Comments about Pioneer DJM-800 4 Channel DJ Mixer W/Midi - GOOD:
Ive actually owned this for roughly 2 years now, and just now realized that I never left a review of the product. So, here is my review... Hands down the best mixer Ive ever used. I went from the 600 to this one and I have got to say it is well worth the few extra duckets it costs. The digital ins and outs are worth their weight in gold for sure. Ive also got mk3s to go with it, and I will say, that if anyone is using that combo as well (mk3s and the 800) and you're NOT using SPDIF cables, you should be shot. The sound improvement is amazing and failure to use SPDIF cables is like driving a ferrari and only using 1st gear.

Comments about Pioneer DJM-800 4 Channel DJ Mixer W/Midi - GOOD:
There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this mixer except that it is a bit on the expensive side. It is packed with features and great effects. I also own the DJM600, which is also awesome but this takes it to the next level. There are more effects and they all sound much nicer on this mixer. The interface has also improved. I strongly recomend this mixer to all.

Comments about Pioneer DJM-800 4 Channel DJ Mixer W/Midi - GOOD:
Just a rocking, simple to use mixer with tons of features and great sound. With a good set of CDJ's in the right hands this would be a hard combination to outshine. It's not cheap but worth the money if you spare a dime. Nothing negative to say.
