The bi-amplified 15" 2-way HPR152F is a versatile speaker that's at home in nearly any sound reinforcement setting. A high-power low-frequency driver with a 3" voice-coil provides extension down to 50 Hz. The 1.75" (diaphragm) compression driver on a 90? x 60? horn delivers smooth high frequencies up to 20 kHz. A 500 watt (400 LF / 100 HF) power module includes a 100 Hz high-pass filter (HPF) for use in subwoofer-equipped systems.

Compared to other tops in the same price range, this will definately be a good pick in it's price range. They may not sound as loud as Mackie and JBL but the crisp, clear sound, & quality product by far outweighs to give more pros vs cons when comparing. The speaker weighs a bit more too, but does have firm grips. Mackie easily overheats or the versions that came out when these did, and JBL just doesn't cut it in crisp sound when compared, not like their "passive" brothers. Overall, a great pick... Yorkville also good tops in similar price range. These go GREAT with HPR 181 subs as they are not good for solo full range setups.

I went to get the JBL Eon and left with these QSC speakers. After listening to them side by side the QSC blew the JBL's out of the water. All my friends have the JBL's and I knew they were the best, but the QSC's just sound better. I also have 2 powered QSC 18" subs. Oh my God they bump!!! I would highly recommend QSC speakers.

I have one 15" QSC speaker (along with 2 JBL EON 15"s) for extra sound for my set up. I would recommend this speaker to anyone that is a mobile DJ. I have one right now and I am getting another one of these speakers, but the problem with them is putting them up on a the speaker stands. They weigh about 100 lbs each. Need two people to get them on the stand. The other is that they are a little pricey. But if you are looking for clear sound and can afford it, this is a good buy!
