The PLX3602 is a premium quality, high-powered amplifier designed for the most demanding live performance uses. Built on the third generation of QSC PowerLight? technology, the PLX3602 combines light weight, superlative audio quality and proven QSC reliability. With strong power ratings, it is capable of providing plenty of clean, undistorted output to the most power hungry speaker systems.
The PLX3602 is the right choice for users who need to drive up to four loudspeakers from each amplifier channel (2 ohm loading), or when extremely high power bridge mono operation is required. It features built-in subwoofer processing, filter switches, and front panel indications of bridge mono status.

I like this amp because its solid and the filters on the back mean you can basically eliminate the need for any crossover. My subs have never sounded better!

I have two huge homebuilt cabs coated with Line-X, each with two Peavey 18" Lowriders in parallel. (4 ohms per side) I've not yet seen this amp clip, it runs quiet and man at the output!!! It actually weighs LESS than the smaller amp it replaced. A big bonus if your rack weighs a ton already. The switches in the back do just fine for running subs. I've moved chairs on a gym floor, and rearranged trophies in a school trophy case!! If you use this for a subwoofer system nail things down, cause they won't stay put!
If you're looking for massive power, light weight and have the money to spend, this is the amp you need!

I use the PLX3602 amps to power my mobile rig. They are one of the strongest amps I have seen that are designed to run on a 15 Amp circuit. They sound clean and crisp and provide ample power. These amps have great s/n ratios; noise hiss is almost completely undetectable.
