I have had a 1850hd for 7 years! i push 4 b52 sr15 with no problems except for a ocational clip at max power.about 4 years ago my studio was flooded with 8 inchs of water and the amp was fully submerged. i dryed it out and it has be perfect ever scence.

I've had this 18050HD amp for about 2 years now and played gigs with crowds ranging from 100-200+ and this amp cranks my Cerwin Vegas with no effort. It stays cool even while playing near clip levels for 6 hours straight. Since I'm lacking bass, my near future setup will have 2 powered mains and this amp will soon power two JBL subwoofers (JRX118s) @4ohms [can push up to 600 watts/channel] totaling about 1200 watts of extra pumping bass.

I feel that this is a great amp for the money. I bought one to power a cerwin vega earthquake sub, and man does it rock! I play it just past clipping for 4 to 6 hours 3 days a week and I've had it for more than 6 years and it still runs strong. I may have been the lucky one to get such a reliable amp but it does the job nicely.

There was a time 10 years ago that all I would buy were the QSC amps. I have one amp still functioning (without repair) since 1997. I bought eight of these 1850 amps and boy am I sorry I did. Besides heavy and large sized, I have had three break down just after the warranty expired in one year. One side of the amp (right) is breaking down. Something I would expect from a 1000 watt amp but not an 1850.
