Comments about QSC RMX2450 Power Amplifier:
I did a little research to find an amp I thought I would like and I really love this amp. Yes, it does cost more than a compariable amp but it has not let me down at all in the six years I have had it. It's only downside is that it is pretty heavy but I can deal with that. QSC does have some good stuff!

Comments about QSC RMX2450 Power Amplifier:
I own 5 2450's and haven't had any problems yet. I have had them for over 5 years now and still sound like new. I run 8 Cerwin Vega AB36 for my traveling band. Great for large rooms or outside parties. The only bad thing about them is that you need a pair of strong roadies to move these babies around when on a rack. Other than that they are a great buy.

Comments about QSC RMX2450 Power Amplifier:
I had a pair of these amps and was sad the day I let them go. They have great power and great amount of usability for any purpose. On top of that they are inexpensive and for the price still put out great clean sound. They're also crazy durable.
Two of these in a rack will both break your rack and your back if you have to move around a lot. That is the only reason I switched to the QSC plx2 series amps.

Q:
Will this amp work great powering Yamaha S215V? Or should I look at another model?Asked on 3/26/2012 by Lenny from Donna, TX1 answer
A:
I would recommed going up one model in the QSC line. The RMX4050 would be a better match for these speakers because they are so large. If you have any more questions feel free to give us a call. 800-945-9300.Answered on 4/2/2012 by Garrett from Cypress, CA
Q:
i can run 4 woofers of 21" of 250 watts each for channelAsked on 3/19/2012 by Anonymous1 answer

You can run 2 woofers at 8 ohms each per channel.Answered on 3/21/2012 by DJ Menergy from Cypress, CA
Q:
I own a 2450 and would like to know if i could power four new sp4 bx speakers? Two per side... would this work and be safe?Asked on 2/29/2012 by Slink-e from Laredo, TX1 answer
A:
I would not suggest doing that. The SP4BX speakers are 2000watt program speakers @ 4ohms.
This amp is not powerful enough.Answered on 3/23/2012 by Todd from Cypress

Q:
Hello & TY in advance. I own two QSC RMX 2450's and want to bridge each to power a pair of Cerwin Vega AB-36C Afterburner's or the EL-36C Earthquake, which I need to purchase. Is this enough power for these subs? Also I believe I would need a cross over (rack mountable). What would you suggest? I found the BBE MAX-X3 2-Way Stereo/3-Way Mono Crossover(?) I own a pair of JBL PRX635's that I would be running with this system as well as a pair of very huge, custom made, full range speakers (dual Electro Voice 12 inch woofers, not subs, 1 ea. huge Electro Voice Mid Horns and dual EV piazo tweets). These stand 5 feet+ when put together and this is what the 2450's were driving. I do have another amp to drive these but would likely need another pair of amps anyway. This is what I'm trying to decide: Buy a pair of amps for the subs or my mains and a crossover. I'm thinking just another pair of 2450s? I hope I gave you enough info to work with. Again, thank you :O)
David (a returning customer)Asked on 9/20/2011 by Mystic from Union City, Ca2 answers
A:
You do need a Crossover so you can have both clean tops and bottoms. I would also look into a DBX drive rack. The drive rack is a all in one piece, you have a crossover, fullband EQ, Speaker management, feedback eliminator etc. You will also need additional amps so you don't under power your system. If you can't afford to get both the amps and the crossover and can only do one or the other, you want to get your amps first and then the BBE or Drive Rack.Answered on 11/2/2011 by Rafael from Cypress CAA:

A:
The QSC RMX2450 Power Amplifier can be used in MONO. Using a banana cable to connect to your speaker you can get the full MONO 2400W - 4 ohms.Answered on 8/4/2010 by od from cypressA:
Yes you can bridge the amps for these. Behind the amp move the tabs to bridge mode and connect your wire to channel 1 or both the red outputs, but make which is your ground and make proper connections.Answered on 8/12/2010 by Jueces Del Norte from Fort Hancock Texas

Yes this amp is within the ideal power rating for your speakers. To run them properly you want to have atleast 1.5x the RMS power being supplied to the speaker.Answered on 2/5/2010 by Leroy from Cypress, CAA:
yes this amp will match the ev speakers well. 5oo watts @ 8 ohms rms.Answered on 2/10/2011 by homie from minneapolis mn
