      The spd30's usb is meant for saving your tones and loops phrases. Unfortunately, you cannot add tones to the SPD 30. If you have any other questions please call me at 1800-268-5520.

      A:

      You would need to assign the pads using your software that you're running your MIDI off of. Your MIDI controller is going to be run completely off of your computer if you needed to change any tones or effects.
