Regarding the cover, I recommend using a bungy cord to keep it in place during transit.

This unit cost almost as much as a somewhat real rack. I'm really filling the slant spaces with gear, and the pieces just don't fit well. I had to file down the plastic edges of the rack where the gear ears go just to get it to fit, and it still doesn't fit well! The cover is a good idea, but I have a feeling I'll eventually be replacing it! There are no straps to physically attach the cover to the rack. In the back of a truck bed, I believe it will become property of the Texas Highway Dept.
However it DOES lighten your load quite a bit, which was the reason for buying this one. If you need light weight without lots of space, this is for you. If you want a REAL rack with better protection, expect to spend a little more and add some size and weight!

THE DUDE on TOP got a bad case, he should of return it, THEY HAD TO GIVE HIM A GOOD ONE. i have this product and it saves my back. Case is more durable then what it looks like. I have a Numark cd dual mounted, with a "numark fx 200 II MIxer" and My BBE, with My compressor. And Furman. And Everything MOUNTED PERFECTLY IN TO MY CASE.

Agree with the last review on snaps do not line up. Have two and one cover fits, the other does not. Could be due to the plastic not molded quite right. Otherwise a light weight easy to use product for a simple prof. system.

Snaps don't always line up and snap. The inside dimensions are a little too tight to fit rack items. Other than that, it is very nice to use, change wiring with the removable back and doesn't leave scratches on a table are a big plus to me.
