Comments about Samson DB500 Powered 15" 2-way Active Loudspeake *:
I have used these with a few live bands (my own and a few others), mostly indoor gigs but I have done a few outdoor shows with them too. I've owned them for about 5 years and they have a lot of hours on them...and they are still going strong.
I would recommend them highly, and would not hesitate to buy another set...but the originals are still going strong!
Look close in the video to the left to see them in action!

Great speakers have had mine for 4 years and have had a lot of people ask what they are because of the quality in their sound....have had comics plug into them with mics and guitars for live shows and were impressed with the sound and quality of the cabs a bit heavy but have shown to be reliable ordering the powered sub for school dances.

Comments about Samson DB500 Powered 15" 2-way Active Loudspeake *:
I got my first pair and the highs were not working out of the box so I said, it's true what they say, Samson won't cut it. I sent it back and had another unit within days. Out of the box it was very good, you'll need to equalize them but after you do you'll be quite happy. I use them as stand alones, w/subs and as monitors. It's 3 years now and I own 3 pair and as long as you operate them correctlly, you'll do fine. My guys like but that's when they have help other wise they do as I do. My solution to putting them on a tripod is simple, I use crank-ups and I lay the speaker on the floor, slide the tripod in at its lowest crank point and just grab the top handle of the speaker and pic it up, you're done.

Comments about Samson DB500 Powered 15" 2-way Active Loudspeake *:
Speakers are too heavy for one man to setup. After using speakers they give off a burning smell. Save your money
