This mic is just fantastic for Guitar Cabs. Setup couldn't be easier. Just drap the cable over the cab, and place the mic in front of the speaker. In this config, it sounds just like your ear 'hears' the cab in the room. No messing about with positions, like the SM57 requires. NO boxiness, or honkeyness either. This will also work on snares, toms, but I think is much better on Guitar Cabs!
