Great needles. The price is a bit high, but they withstand a lot of use and abuse. I've used other needles that have lasted a couple of weeks. I usually use the 44-7 for years. This new pair is for replacement of ones that were lost, not damaged.

Makes me wonder why I bought different needles all these years.
I work in a very unfriendly environment for DJs and these hold to the groove like no other needle before. Coming from Q-Bert Concord - those are also tremendous quality but just can't handle heavy vibrations like the 447s.

My old cartridge, when installed, sat at a perfect 90 degree angle to the record. This cartridge sets at more of a 70 degree angle, which I was told is good for DJ's who scratch a lot. Don't know about that but it sounds great!

Before I purchased these I was using Ortofon Elektro cartridges. It was time for new needles I've had the ortofon's for over 2 years and they are starting to wear. I decided to try these out and man was I Impressed I've heard so much positive feedback from others I had to try em myself. The sound quality on the M447's are so pure I just wish I had started with these in the first place. They are made for turntablists. I use them with serato scratch live and I'm highly impressed with how well they perform. The fact that they come pre mounted is so convenient for dj's on the run. Get these!! you will not be let down

I have been using these needles for over a year now. Prior to trying these I was using trackmasters.. TrackMasters are good but Shure M447 are better and more Powerful and reliable. Plug and play was a plus also.
