Legendary Performer
Pros: Durable,Clear Sound,Easy To Use,Compact

Sound is clear; less feedback than other mics I have had. Just remember the batteries. Nice to use AA's instead of 9v's. Great case and mic holder included.

Great upgrade from previous series.
Pros: Durable,Versatile,Clear Sound,Lightweight,Compact,Easy To Use

I have the previous version of the PG series and this one blows my older models out of the water. I have put both my PG and PGD side by side and the the PGD came out so much cleaner. This new digital version sounds even better, the clarity is like nothing i have ever seen in any other microphones. This thing sounds amazing. I will be changing over my guitar versions over to the digital ones soon.

Really Good Wireless
Pros: Easy To Use,Reliable

was DJing a wedding that required 3 wireless mics, and i only own one... so i rented two of these shure mics.

my mic which is an audio technica was noisy, staticky, had a buzz and just in general sounded low quality. these shure mics, by comparison, were incredible. crystal clear, no static and really easy to set-up.

most of the use of the mics was for speeches and a reading during the ceremony, but there was one performance that involved a guitar and vocals and we used the shure for that guy, it sounded very nice.

Would the sound come out off your system, how would you connect to your amp?
Mando on Oct 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: To get sound to your PA, you would run an XLR cable out of the back of the receiver for the Shure PGX-D Digital Handheld Wireless Mic System into either a PA mixer or into the input on your amplifier or speaker.
I have this system and love it. Would I be able to add another mic to this system without a problem?
Saenz on Jul 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes and no. Each microphone needs its own frequency to operate and transmit properly. So it is not possible to use two wireless systems on the same frequency in the same venue or, in this case, to use two wireless microphones with just one receiver. If you invest in an additional super awesome PGXD4, then adding a mic would be a walk in the park.
