Comments about Shure SRH750DJ Professional Dj Headphones:
Moving on from my second pair of Sony MDR-V700's I was looking for a change to same joint breakage that had plagued me. I chose these on a whim because of the positive audio quality reviews I had seen. Boy was I surprised when I heard what came out of them. Bass response as defined as I have ever heard it (sorry Sony) with a good balance along the entire spectrum. The headphones are very lightweight and to be honest I am still concerned that the design of joints can be a problem in the future. I guess with proper care I should expect years of reliable performance. I have not made it clear enough how great these sound to me. The funny things is that unless you're using a high powered outlet (on a dj mixer for example) what you hear is a little subdued let's say if you plug them into your Droid or I-Phone...to me they still sound great without proper amp behind them. Be not mistaken, these are Pro level headphones and to get the absolute best out of them they are meant for use in that capacity. Be that as it may, I still think they sound amazing on my laptop ;). I love these and would most definitively say that these are now my "industry-standard".

Comments about Shure SRH750DJ Professional Dj Headphones:
I've owned many DJ headphones over the last 15 years I've been spinning. The best I've had before these was the Sony MDR-V700DJ. Those only 1 year & 11 months. Now I have these Shure's and they are most certainly the best I've had. The looks are 100% on point. The sounds is superior & feels comfortable. Even after having them on for over 3 hours. Now everyone has their own type of hearing and sound opinions. Some say these headphones sound like poo. I respect all feedback cause everyone hears differently and prefer more highs than low or the other way around. I for one like a balance but appreciate heavy bass and these headphones give plenty of that. The sound isolation is much better than the MDR-V700DJ in my opinion. They sound great when you slightly push them up, but then again why would you want to push headphones of any kind to their limits unless you want to permanently loose your hearing or worse. These headphones are surely worth the money and I would pick these before the industry standard v700s. I diffidently compare these to the Pioneers which I also own. These are great headphones especially if you want good thick bass with a nice blend of mids and highs. When these headphones start to poo out in a few years or less I'm going to buy another of the same pairs. I have no cons about these.

Comments about Shure SRH750DJ Professional Dj Headphones:
I have a very good ear when it comes to balancing sound from highs to lows. These headphone are superb. They're clear and handles just enough bass that dosen't drown out the mids and highs when volume is over increased. Above all, they have a very good grip around the ear which locks out MOST of the outside unwanted music when cueing. Satisfied?? Yes, I'm so glad I bought these SHURE's.

Comments about Shure SRH750DJ Professional Dj Headphones:
When I read most of the reviews on this website, I noticed that these people talked about how these headphones did not sound clear. That is because they are most likely using music that has a low bit rate, such as 128 kbps. Because these headphones are so good they are able to pick up most defects in music, thus requiring you to listen to music with a higher bit rate, such as 256 kbps or higher. So if you're an idiot and download low quality music you don't deserve to have such high quality headphones or write a review about these headphones. They are simply superb.

I'm a mobile DJ ( for the pass 7 years) with a mini studio at home. Good sound even though it lacks a bit in the low end. It cancels noise well with 4 dual 15s

Comments about Shure SRH750DJ Professional Dj Headphones:
I am a DJ. I play 3-5 nights a week for crowds up to 3000 people. I guess these cans would be okay for a mobile dj and for small events but, if you are playing bigger venues with large sound systems look at other cans. They have poor bass response, they clip and distort very easily, clunky and big are just a few bad things about these cans. Thanks shure for bringing another so so pair of dj headphones into the market.
