Professional Powered Pedalboard

The SKB PS-45 Professional Pedalboard utilizes SKB's patented design offering the durability and protection expected from SKB, but with power supply efficiency that is second to none.

We really went out and did our homework on this one, commented Katie Evans, SKB Sales Account Manager. The word we were getting from dealers was that the category was really getting cluttered. Some designs offered superior protection, while others offered advantageous price positions, and yet others offered better power supply capabilities. Listening to the market, and receiving feedback on the products development during the design phase, we are confident we have captured all the critical elements in this one pedalboard, Evans proudly proclaimed.

Features:
  • 8 protected 9V DC outlets
  • 100 MA per outlet
  • 1A maximum combined current for all outlets
  • Three widely spaced 120V AC, 15A outlets
  • Allows enough room for wall warts
  • (8) 3.5 mm miniplug to 2.1mm x 5mm DC connector
  • (1) 3.5mm miniplug to 3.5 miniplug
  • (1) 3.5mm miniplug to 9 volt battery clip

Comments about SKB Cases Skb PS55 Professional Pedal Board:

I used to use a multi effects pedal, but became sick of the sound. Mine had too many features I wouldn't use, and didn't have the quality of useful sounds that I need. I started collecting individual pedals, and modding older pedals that I already had to get exactly what I want. This board has excellent power supplies, line drivers, patch bays, cable routing and plenty of space. I was able to put 12 pedals on this monster that allow me to go to any clean amp and get my sound. That's 12 pedals from 12 different manufacturers!! I've recently been using a very versatile overdrive pedal to get distortion, but the cable routing allows me the versatility to put part of my effects in the effects loop of my Mesa, in case I want to use amp distortion. And the patch bays can be configured in far more complex ways than I'll ever need. Also, my setup time has been cut to almost nothing. The only downfall I have found is the quality of the velcro surface. I have had to come up with some interesting solutions to keep my pedals in place. Luckily, I am up for the challenge. I love this unit!!!
