Multi-tap extension cords are useful for even lighting where there are limited outlets. They come in very handy to set up LED Up-Lights etc. The one draw back is their cost! They are not cheap.

I ordered this for uplighting and it gets the job done. The cord is heavier than I expected but it has a nice piece of plastic that the cord can be wrapped around to keep it neat during tansport (not sure what this is called), or to keep the portion that you're not using organized.
