Packing all of the benefits of our best-selling C.314 plus an abundance of upgraded features, the new C.324 is a must-have for any true CD DJ. This tabletop, slot-loading CD player is designed for MP3 DJs who want to scratch CDs like vinyl, and has everything needed for ultimate performace. With specialties such as MP3 playback with onboard file and folder browsing, onboard pattern and real-time sequencer for drum machine style performances, 7 onboard digital effects, and a sleek slot drive, we've taken everything about the C.324 to the next level... except the price tag.

REAL-TIME SAMPLE/LOOP SEQUENCING
The C.324 has added real time trigger pads that offer real-time sample / loop sequencing. This means that trigger patterns can now be recorded in real time and looped instantaneously. Drum patterns and loops can be manually resequenced and then looped to bring a completely new twist to live DJ remixing. This functionality is usually only achieved on drum machines. Using the C.324 sequences can be created in seconds compared to minutes using drum machines.

BEAT SYNCHRONIZED SAMPLES AND LOOPS
The C.324 can record Loops and Samples, with the length determined by the Time setting. This new feature makes it easy to set up perfect seamless loops. The C.324 also allows for the creation of beat synchronized loops based off of the current song's BPM. This means that a perfectly timed seamless loop can be set on-the-fly with one button press. Once a beat synchronized loop has been set it can be trimmed or expanded in real time by beat increment. By trimming the beat, a one bar loop can be turned into a 1/2 bar loop, 1/4 note or 1/8th note. Smaller loops can be expanded in the same fashion.

SLOT LOADING MECHANISM
The C.324 has a slot loading CD mechanism with LED for quick loading of CDs into the unit in low light situations.

Comments about Stanton C-324 Tabletop CD/MP3 Player - GOOD:

I would reconsider purchasing this product as it is unreliable. After minimal use (3 to 5 times) as a back up to my Hercules RMX, this Stanton CD turntable gives the error "No Disc". I was able to return one player because it was under warranty, but the other was not under warranty when it started to malfunction. The cost of warranty repair through Stanton was $118. Not to mention their (Stanton) follow up and response when contacting customer service is less than adequate. Please do a Google search on "no disc" for this Stanton Player and you will see a lot of reviews of how unreliable this player is.

Comments about Stanton C-324 Tabletop CD/MP3 Player - GOOD:

Brief DJ BIO: 1st pair of decks = Stanton STR-60's (still own them)

Decks I tried along the way: Technics MK3's, Numark direct drive (can't remember models, sorry). I wasn't very impressed by either.

1st pair of digital decks: Denon DNS-3000's - liked these, but they ran hot after about 2 hrs of usage. However, they also did not respond well to my scratching. They responded like a belt drive deck. Had to upgrade to a diff dig. deck, due to a friend stealing these from me.

Brands I was browsing for my new deck: I was torn between Numark NDX 400, NDX 800, Mixdeck, and C-324.

What I bought: Ended up going with Stanton C-324 cause I caught it on a sale. Just to let you know, I am a turntablist, so i do dish out alot of abuse to my turntables/dig. decks. I love this deck though. It handles my abuse very well. I love the touch sensitive platter, and the touch rewind is my fave feature. It makes beat juggling so easy. I wish i would of had these decks when I first started out. It's definitely worth the $$.

CONS: NO USB port - on the Numark NDX models you can hook up an external and mix what's on that, or even use the NDX as a midi controller when hooked up to your pc. C-324 missed the boat on this one.

#2 CON: If you are doing alot of scratching, backspins, etc - the black material that is on the C-324 platter, comes off. So over time, your platter may start looking like mine: silver in some spots.

If you are looking to purchase these cd players please DONT waste your time or money. I bought 2 of them and have owned them for less than a year and stopped working twice because of the same issue. Staton recently returned them to me after they supposedly repaired them for the second time and they didn't work. Currently Stanton has one of them and they not respond to emails or inquires about the status of my repair. The product I purchashed was obviously defective and of substandard quality [...]. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Comments about Stanton C-324 Tabletop CD/MP3 Player - GOOD:

I've been a working DJ for over 20 years..in clubs, in radio and mobile. I use the C324 for my mobile set up and I've used it for clubs too...when it works this is a great product. I really like the lay out and the on board effects are good too. The on the fly sampling is a great touch and I can scratch on them ok...not quite Pioneer quality but pretty good. Here"s where it goes on the negative side...I've had these since june of 08, the first issue on both is the eject mechanizm in the loading slot..it takes them ok but then it won't spit them out on both units...I have to tap on top of the unit so it will spit out the disc. Another issue is the platter on one of them gets stiff..apperently there is no adjustment on them and no Robert, tech guy from Stanton, I'm not gonna tear the unit apart and spray with WD-40. My recent adventure with these table tops is now one of them goes into loop mode while playing a track and I can't get out fo it. I've tried clearing the unit but that never helped matters. I've sent the unit in to Stanton hoping they correct this issue but the reality here is...I should have just spent the cash and bought Pioneer...trust me its worth the headaches. now whats the lesson learned here children???? If your gonna do something, do it right the first time...If you really want a pair of Stanon C324's I'll gladly sell you mine..

Comments about Stanton C-324 Tabletop CD/MP3 Player - GOOD:

thought I'm sure people will argue this with me...I personally think the Stanton C.324's are the best cd turntable you can buy right now. having been able to use CDJ-1000's, Denon DN-S3500, and these C.324's. I like the C.324's the best, the ability to instantly cue, loop, and sample on the fly is just incredible and makes mixing and editing tracks easy even when performing live. I also like that the effects buttons are on the deck and are easily controlled through an x-y interface contrary to most other decks that rely on mixers for effects.

the decks themselves are also well organized and neat, with all the important features being easily accessible and having larger buttons than most other decks. these things are also very sturdy and can take quite a beating..I've brought mine to shows all over and they have been used by other DJ's and performers and they still work just as well today as they did the day I bought them.

my only complaint is with the scratching. while these are capable of scratching and a few turntablist tricks, they are not as resposive as the Denon and Pioneer decks so if you're a hardcore scratch DJ I wouldn't suggest the 324 but if you're really into hard scratching and turntablism, you should be using actual turntables as no CD deck will compare to the feel of real vinyl for scratching....but if you're looking for perfect mixing, editing, sampling, and playing on the fly this is the perfect deck and being that it is mp3 capable you can use any cd format including cd-r
