These are economical and functional Styli. If you have 505V3 cartridges, these are MUST HAVE spares. They do the job, they do it well - they don't break for no good reason. They wear down just as described. They're not high performance or scratch needles. You can obviously spend more money & get better tracking performance, etc. if you have need for that.
